Hunting Seasons & Licenses

Below is season and license information for our hunts in South Dakota & Nebraska, and on the Rosebud Sioux Tribe reservation lands. Information for all seasons is not always available at certain times of the year, but we will keep this page as current as possible.

2012 SD Pheasant Season and License Info

• Opens October 20, 2012
  
• Cost of non-resident license is $110 for two 5-day periods.
• Licenses can be purchased at multiple locations in Gregory. Or, order and print online here: https://apps.sd.gov/applications/gf82/login.asp

2012 SD Turkey Season and License Info

• Spring archery turkey season opens April 7, 2012 and closes May 20, 2012.
  
• The regular Spring turkey season (Prairie) opens April 14 and closes May 20.
• Licenses can be applied for online, but not printed, here: https://apps.sd.gov/applications/gf82/login.asp

• Rosebud Sioux Tribal turkey season starts March 31 and ends May 20.
• Cost for non-resident tag (2 male birds) is approximately $176.

2012 SD Deer Season and License Info

• 2012 seasons and dates pending.
  

2012 SD Prairie Dog Season and License Info

• We hunt on both private land and tribal lands.
• Season is open year-round on private land.
  
• Cost for SD private land prairie dog license is $37. Purchase and print this license online here: https://apps.sd.gov/applications/gf82/login.asp

• Current dates for tribal season is March 1 thru August 19.
  
• Cost for tribal license is $40 for 3-day license and $55 for annual license. Tribal prairie dog licenses can be purchased on arrival, or purchase online & print here: http://www.rstgfp.net/?id=32

2012 SD Antelope Season and License Info

• We conduct our South Dakota antelope hunts on Rosebud Sioux tribal land.
